POLICY FOR HELPING ADULTS WHO ARE IN EXTENDED FOSTER CARE (EFC) OR HAVE AGED OUT OF FOSTER CARE
All requests must be submitted through the website.
Must be in EFC or have aged out of the foster care system in Louisiana.
Must be between the ages of 18 and 24 years old.
Must be able to verify time in foster care (through a letter from previous worker or CASA).
After the first request is granted, applicant will be required to complete the Dave Ramsey Financial Literacy Course funded by One Heart NOLA (OHN) before any further requests are granted.
OHN will respond within two weeks to a request via a response letter.
Payments will be made directly to payee and not to applicant.
If a gift card is needed for a purchase, a copy of the receipt must be sent to OHN either via text or email, before any other requests are considered.
OHN does not discriminate base on gender, race or sexual orientation.
